Motor Truck Cargo Program
Single units and fleets for carriers and owners of cargo subject to the following limits:
$500,000.00 - Per unit
$1,000,000.00 - Per occurrence
Applications
We prefer to use the Gramercy Motor Cargo Application but will accept other truck insurance applications as long as information is complete.
Binding Authority
Our producers do not have binding authority. However, once Gramercy Insurance has issued a quote and the risk has not been altered in any way, you may make a written request to bind coverage by email or fax.
Submission Requirements
In addition to a fully completed and signed application, the following information is needed in order to obtain a fleet quote:
- Company loss runs for the last four years
- Financial statement (two years preferred)
- Drivers list with date of birth and date of hire
- Driver Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
- Equipment list with serial numbers
- Fuel tax mileage reports ( Schedule B or IFTA) for the last two years
- Summary of hiring practice guidelines
- Summary of safety programs
- Summary of maintenance programs
Quotes
Our quotes are based on the information submitted and are valid for 30 days unless there has been a change in exposure, new claim occurrence or an increase in the amount of an existing claim. Refer to underwriters for commodity classes excluded.
Policy Form
Gramercy uses our own Broad form Motor Truck Cargo policy.
